Are you currently looking for the best Lubbock apartments?  Trying to figure out which apartment complexes in Lubbock are suited just for you?  Well, then hopefully this blog article will help you make a wise decision.

Choosing an apartment to live in, in an unfamiliar city, is not the easiest thing to do.  After all, you do not know which neighborhoods are actually the safest or most convenient.  You are likely left to read some online reviews, maybe do a drive around and throw your hope into the website descriptions.  Then, once you pick a place while leaning into hope, you are locked into a six or twelve-month lease, which basically says you cannot change your mind or your location for that stated time period.   Six months to a year might not sound like a long time, but when you are stuck in a living situation where management doesn’t fix your broken things or handle your legitimate complaints, a month can feel like a lifetime.

So, what’s to do?

Fortunately, Lubbock has a bunch of options for you to pick from.  And while I tend to recommend one or two properties the highest, I know from experience that even if you make a “mistake,” it will probably not haunt you like it could in some other town.  What I am saying is this, there are a lot of high-quality apartment complexes in Lubbock and many of them are not only comfortable and convenient, but they also have more than competent managerial and management staffs.  This combination is key to you finding apartment happiness anywhere!

With this in mind, my suggestion is to start your research online.  Begin by searching for “Lubbock apartments” and go through as many map listings as you can to see which 10 apartment complexes are the highest rated by Google.  Don’t just search the first few pages – Search for all complexes that are in the top ten pages of results.  Then do the same kind of search on Yelp to see if those same complexes appear as the highest rated.  Next, take these 10 apartment complexes you have noted and start checking out their pricing and locations.  If you can, try to choose complexes near to the main highway systems, like Marsha Sharp and the Loop – just my suggestion – this will help you get anywhere in town fast.  (This is one of the main reasons I chose Windsor Creek Apartments.)  Obviously, affordability is a major factor for most of us.  So, if you are able to find an adequately sized apartment in a locale near one of the major highway systems and it falls within your budget, put that apartment complex into your top five.

Now, with your top five in hand, you are ready to come and do actual site visits.  Of course, you will want to call the apartment complexes first to make sure that there are vacancies on your desired floor (if you care about what floor you are on).  Then, take a full day and make it your goal to gather as much empirical information as you can from the apartment complexes you visit.  You can then compare what you see and touch and smell to what you saw as mere images on the internet.  This is important to do.

Then, with all of the web info and the empirical info in hand, you will be ready to make your decision.  One thing I should have mentioned previously is this: When looking at online reviews, make sure to look at how recent the good and bad reviews are.  You shouldn’t just look at a complexes overall star score, because that will not necessarily give you the most accurate present picture.  See if you can instead gather up the reviews from the past nine months and use those to determine what is probably going on in the now.
